Recently, Changsha South Railway Station received a call for help from the First Ward of the Thoracic Surgery Department of the Second Xiangya Hospital. The G1535 train will bring a lung transplant organ from Zhengzhou, Henan Province to Changsha. It needs to be handed over at Changsha South High-speed Railway Station and quickly sent to an ambulance. .
Changsha South Railway Station immediately opened a green channel, and communicated with the medical team many times about the details to discuss the most suitable pick-up location. In the end, it took only 7 minutes from the train's arrival at the station to the lung source being sent to the ambulance.
It is understood that with the efforts of medical staff, the organ has been successfully transplanted.
