The international street theater festival in Aurillac, in Cantal, is back after three years of a pandemic.

Until Saturday August 20, the city will welcome 600 companies and nearly 120,000 festival-goers.

After two years of absence linked to Covid-19, the international street theater festival returns to Aurillac, in Cantal, for its 35th edition. 

The festival opened with a strong message of support for Ukraine on Wednesday evening with special guests the Dakh Daughters, a group of Ukrainian musicians whose lyrics were translated on a screen for the many spectators.

In all, no less than 5,000 artists are programmed and will invest the streets of Aurillac.

The festival is held until Saturday August 20.
