"Man of La Mancha" is a musical based on the Spanish novel "Don Quixote". said that the performance in February this year was the last.



However, at that time, the performance was canceled due to the new coronavirus one after another, and the schedule for 25 times could only be performed 7 times, and Chiakiraku was also canceled, so there were calls for a repeat performance.



For this reason, Toho, which hosts the event, has decided to reschedule Mr. Shirao's last performance in April next year.



According to Toho, the performance will be performed 10 times from April 14th to April 24th next year at the Yokosuka Arts Theater in Yokosuka City, Kanagawa Prefecture, and will be performed with almost the same performers as in February this year.



Mr. Shirao, who celebrated his 80th birthday on the 19th, said, "This is the happiest birthday of my life. I am overwhelmed with emotions. I will continue to light the fire of 'Man of La Mancha' to this day. I will do my best from the first day to Senraku for the sake of everyone who gave it to me."
