That is 47 more than last Thursday's 2,772, making it the second-highest number of confirmed cases in a single day.
On the other hand, the prefecture has withdrawn a total of 10 people announced from the 15th to the 17th of this month.
The number of confirmed infections in the prefecture reached 174,984, of which 397 died.
