Consumer price index rose 2.4% in July, exceeding 2% for 4 consecutive months

Last month's consumer price index, which looks at the price movements of goods and services consumed at home, exceeded the same month last year by 2.4%, excluding fresh food, which fluctuates greatly depending on the weather.
