"Never Compromise" is Ye Daying's first film work as a screenwriter, director and editor. It tells the story of Yu Li (Zhu Dan), the editor-in-chief of "New Island Weekly", who withstood the pressure of all parties and fought against the evil forces.
Ye Daying said that in 2016, he came up with the idea of making a film about reporters exposing the shady scenes of the capital market. "In order to create a solid script, we have revised more than 90 drafts in 6 years, and the difficulties in all aspects are beyond imagination." This is also the first film by himself. Works as screenwriter, director and editor.
