The Information Office of the People's Government of Mian County, Hanzhong City, Shaanxi Province reported today (August 17) that on August 15, an accidental drowning incident occurred in Changgouhe Town of the county, and 5 people drowned.
According to the report, at about 18:00 that day, officials from Zhuanzuizi Village, Changgouhe Town, found dead bodies floating on the river surface when they patrolled the river to the Heitanzi section of the Yanhe River, and immediately called the police and reported it to the local government.
The county organized the force immediately and rushed to the scene to carry out search and rescue quickly. Five people were salvaged from the river, but none of them had vital signs.
A preliminary investigation by the public security organs on the scene determined that he died of drowning.
At present, the aftermath work is proceeding in an orderly manner.
