Hollywood star Ezra Miller, who is due to be seen in cinemas next year as the superhero “The Flash”, says he is being treated for mental health problems.

The actor, also known from the "Fantastic Beasts" films, explained on Tuesday that he had recently gone through a major crisis and realized that he had "complex psychological problems".

In a statement shared through his agents, the 29-year-old said he apologized "to anyone I have upset and upset with my behavior."

He now wants to do everything to get well again.

A few days ago, Miller was reported for a burglary in the US state of Vermont, and a few months ago he was arrested in Hawaii for causing trouble.

In addition, he is said to have choked a woman in a bar in Iceland, but she did not press charges.

The superhero film The Flash is slated to hit theaters next summer.

Miller had portrayed the character in several films from the DC cinema universe.
