Bronze textured figures, mirror images of animals, three-dimensional and realistic log-style villages and dwellings... It is unimaginable that these works are all "sculpted" with pulp.

Recently, the reporter visited the "Shuidong Fragrant Paper Art Museum" located in Xiangzhigou Scenic Spot, Xinbao Township, Wudang District, Guiyang City. The museum displays the combination of ancient non-heritage papermaking skills and paper carving art by Guizhou arts and crafts master Fang Cong. Creation of colorful pulp art crafts.

These works skillfully use the natural color and rough surface texture of the original pulp, as well as the plasticity of the pulp, showing the charm of pulp sculpture and the ancient papermaking culture of Xiangzhigou that has been passed down for hundreds of years.
