As the heat continues, a leisure facility in Kushima City, Miyazaki Prefecture, is holding an event called "Nagashi Somen," or "Nagashi Aji," in which horse mackerel is fed to penguins like somen noodles.

The leisure facility "Dolphin Land" in Kushima City, Miyazaki Prefecture has 27 Humboldt penguins, and once a day, the penguins dressed in yukata and Hawaiian shirts take a walk in the park.

In the middle of summer, when the heat continues, these penguins are enjoying nagashi somen, or nagashi horse mackerel, which began on the 1st of this month.

The penguins catch horse mackerel with their beaks and swallow them whole.

The sight of the penguins deftly eating horse mackerel was met with a round of applause from the spectators.

A male onlooker said, "It was cute to see them using their beaks to eat horse mackerel. It was a fun and humorous event."

The Humboldt Penguin's "Nagashi Aji" event will be held every day until the 31st of this month.
