The Executive Vice President of the National Program for the Development of the Fisheries Sector, affiliated to the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture, Musa Al-Kinani, said that the number of girls who have been accepted in the project to qualify national cadres for the fishing profession has reached 60 girls, who will be trained in the “solution” track, which is specialized in sales and marketing of fish products. Al-Kinani stressed that this profession was divided into four main sectors, namely the fishing sector inside the sea, and three of them outside the sea, which are transportation and distribution, sales, marketing, support services and operation, revealing that 90% of the targets in the "marketing" sector are female.
