In early March this year, Mr. Liu, a citizen of Shanghai, reported the case to the police station in the Shanghai Station area of the Jing'an Branch of the Shanghai Public Security Bureau, saying that he was in a "XX cute thing" live broadcast room on a popular short video platform at a price of 20% off the regular price. The Shanghai police set up a special task force, and from June to August this year, they went to other provinces to carry out investigation and evidence collection, followed the line, and finally locked down the "live broadcast counterfeiting" criminal gang headed by Zhu and Yang.

At about 11:00 on August 15, the police conducted a centralized inspection of the counterfeiting factory, arrested four suspects headed by Zhang, and seized more than 2,000 counterfeit dolls and dolls of the brand on the spot, and the amount involved was initially estimated. Nearly 20 million yuan.
So far, the entire chain of the case of manufacturing and selling counterfeit well-known brand dolls has been solved, and all 17 suspects have been brought to the case.
Appraisal by relevant professional institutions, all the dolls seized are counterfeit products.
After arriving at the case, according to Zhu's account, there has been a rush to buy dolls from well-known brands on the Internet in the past two years. The original price of 219 yuan was once "fired" to 2,000-3,000 yuan, but it was still "hard to find". Zhu thought of selling counterfeit dolls of the brand to earn a high price difference.
After many investigations, Zhu met Zhang, a wholesaler who has long been engaged in the manufacture of counterfeit toys of the brand, and the two sides began to "cooperate".
At the end of 2021, Zhu, together with his wife Yang and other 4 people, brought the brand's Internet celebrity dolls in the live broadcast room, and advertised that "big brand genuine dolls can be purchased at 10% or 20% off the original price", and the live broadcast effect was very popular. The monthly sales are around 1.5 million yuan.
"The purchase price of these dolls generally ranges from 5 yuan to 20 yuan, which is only about one-twentieth of the original price. When they are sold in their live broadcast rooms, the price is generally about one-fifth of the original price." As the popularity of the live broadcast room grew, Zhu's criminal gang increased its cooperation with Zhang to further increase the number of orders and reduce the cost of purchases.
After investigation, from the end of March to August 2022, Zhu ordered another order of more than 500,000 yuan in Zhang for live broadcast sales.

At present, 17 criminal suspects including Zhu Mou, Yang Mou and Zhang Mou have all been taken criminal compulsory measures by Jing'an Police in accordance with the law for the crime of selling commodities with counterfeit registered trademarks, and the case is still under further investigation.
