China News Service, Langfang, August 15th (Song Mintao and Zheng Chenzi) Measurement, pattern making, cutting... On the 15th, in a Hanfu studio in Yongqing County, Hebei Province, the production skills of traditional Han costumes and costumes of the Hebei provincial intangible cultural heritage project were inherited. Zhao Bo took a tape measure to measure the size, while making a pattern on kraft paper. In a few minutes, a pattern of Hanfu Taoist robe was made.

Walking into the Hanfu studio, there is only a case, a tape measure, and a pair of scissors... It was in this minimalist studio that Zhao Bo successfully copied the Han Dynasty plain gauze coat, the Tang Dynasty half arm, and the Song Dynasty closed collar. There are more than 100 exquisite Hanfu such as shirts and Yuan Dynasty collar robes.

Twenty years ago, Zhao Bo, who was only 15 years old, followed in his father's footsteps and began to collect Hanfu.

At the age of 16, in Tianjin, for the first time, Zhao Bo collected a piece of Qing Dynasty court costume by himself.

After going to college, he was even more obsessed with Hanfu culture, and whenever he had time, he went to a nearby ancient town to collect Hanfu.

Over the years, he not only visited more than 200 ancient villages and towns across the country to collect more than 2,000 pieces (sets) of Hanfu, but also restored and reproduced some Hanfu one by one.

Zhao Bo said that there are few Tang Dynasty costumes handed down, so it has always been his dream to restore the "half arm" of the Tang Dynasty.

"'Half arm', as the name suggests, is a kind of clothing that played a decorative role in the Tang Dynasty, a bit like the 'waistcoat' that everyone wears now." Zhao Bo introduced that it took more than two years from material selection to production. He finally successfully copied the "half arm" of the Tang Dynasty, as if to "live" the Hanfu that had been sleeping for thousands of years, and re-entered the vision of contemporary people.

"In the production process, it is a difficult problem to find the right fabric. The fabric of this 'half arm' is taken from a rare old garment, and its fabric making skills are in the same strain as the 'half arm' fabric of the Tang Dynasty." Zhao Bo said.

Zhao Bo said that in order to "live" the ancient craftsmanship of Hanfu, we must also maintain its "essence".

Nowadays, many fabrics such as hemp, cotton, leather, and bamboo required for the production of Hanfu have long been unavailable in the market due to the complex production process. These precious fabrics can only be ordered and woven by national non-genetic inheritors.

"The right collar, the top and bottom skirt, and the cross-cutting method are all concentrated expressions of my country's Hanfu culture. Hanfu culture is a precious legacy left to us by our ancestors." Zhao Bo said that the best inheritance is to let Hanfu go People's side, into people's lives.

Today, Zhao Bo uses the WeChat public account and Douyin "Zhao Bo Said Hanfu" as a carrier to innovate cultural communication methods through the Internet, and has attracted many fans of Hanfu.

He said that his greatest wish is to allow more people to learn Hanfu culture and make Hanfu by themselves. He also hopes that my country's traditional Hanfu culture can go abroad and bloom overseas.
