The missing Syrian girl "Joy" was found dead and dumped in a landfill

The official page of the Syrian Ministry of Interior announced that the body of the missing girl, Joy Istanbouli, had been found in a garbage dump near the Tal al-Nasr cemetery, north of Homs.


The page stated that through preliminary investigations and as a result of the medical examination of the body, it was found that it belonged to the girl, Joy Istanbuli, who had been missing since the eighth of this month, and her mother recognized her through her clothes.


It was found that the cause of death was severe hemorrhage caused by hitting the head with a sharp object, and the judge decided to hand the body over to the rightful family.


The discovery of the body came after days of searching and investigation, after informing the girl's family of her disappearance a week ago.


The pioneers of social networking sites in Syria interacted with the incident, and called on the competent authorities to intensify the search for the girl, whose tragedy provoked a deep sadness that was expressed on social networking sites.


 The family of the girl previously stated that she was kidnapped in front of her house, and the family appealed to the kidnappers to return the girl in exchange for any money, and the reason for her abduction was not revealed.
