A complaint about a cold potato reveals a killer who has been on the run since 2018. "Video"

The "reckless" behavior of an American accused of murder, who has been on the run since 2018, finally fell into the hands of the police, after he called the General Complaints Department to report bad service at the "McDonald's" fast food restaurant.

The wanted Antoine Sims called the general complaints number 911 to file a complaint against the fast food restaurant for receiving a cold potato meal, he said, but the call eventually led to his arrest in connection with a murder.

According to a report by the Georgia regional website, police in Kennesaw (US) claimed that 24-year-old Antoine Sims called the complaints after he claimed he got cold fries at the local McDonald's. A restaurant has refused to replace its food after allegations of cold potatoes. After an information check, responding officers were made aware of the fact that Sims had an arrest warrant, linked to a 2018 murder in which a woman's body was found in a burning car.

The discovery of the database for Sims' arrest warrant inspired the officers in charge who, after a short chase on foot, and after using a taser, were eventually able to arrest him.

And Complex reported that cold fries were recently at the center of another news story, this time in Brooklyn, where a 23-year-old McDonald's employee was shot in the neck by a man whose mother allegedly got into an argument over the temperature of the fries.

The employee later died.
