"Rangtang Cultural Tourism Chengdu Tour" was officially launched in Chengdu Wenxuan Art Museum on the 14th.

As one of the sub-events of the "Rangbala Cultural Tourism Event" in 2022, this content-rich exhibition is a window to explore the intangible cultural heritage of Rangtang County, Aba Prefecture, Sichuan Province.

At the scene, exquisite exhibits such as thangkas, stone carvings, wood carvings, Tibetan incense, Tibetan carpets, Tibetan pottery, Tibetan masks, as well as the national intangible cultural heritage Sanskrit music, vividly interpret the thousand-year-old and long-lasting Sanskrit music in the form of "silent" or "sound". The new rambala culture.

Entering the Wenxuan Art Museum, the elegant, mellow, and refreshing scent of Tibetan incense blows.

Tibetan incense is an indispensable daily necessities for Tibetan folk, and its unique aroma has the effect of refreshing the mind and regulating the body and mind.

The production history of Rangbala Tibetan incense can be traced back to more than 2,000 years ago. At present, Rangtang County has retained a complete Tibetan incense inheritance system, forming a unique Tibetan incense category.

In the exhibition hall on the first floor, the first thing that catches the eye is all kinds of "ZZZA".

According to Qiuzhen, a non-genetic inheritor and a craft artist from Aba Prefecture, "Thicha" is a small Buddha statue made of clay or precious medicinal materials, which has religious, artistic, cultural relics and collection value in one.

Most of the "ZhiZhi" in the showcase are half the size of a palm, showing the artistic characteristics of "ZZZA": fully using the sculptural language within a square inch to present a unique aesthetic.

"'Thicha' is a masterpiece of Tibetan Buddhist art designed by Chongxiang, which is left to the world and has high artistic value." Qiuzhen said.

The rich and varied stone carving techniques are also the highlights of the intangible cultural heritage of Rangtang County.

The Rangbala stone carvings have bright colors and natural lines. Seeing these exquisite stone carvings, the "Golden Stone Symphony" of "Jingdong Jingdong" seems to ring in my ears.

At the scene, a certificate printed with "the world's most complete existing rock-carved Buddhist scriptures world record on-site certification" is also one of the exhibits.

In 2021, Bangtuo Rock Carving Park, located in Rongmuda Township, Rangtang County, has a collection of about 500,000 rock-carved Buddhist scriptures that will pass the world record certification and will be awarded the WRCA World Record Certification, confirming that it is the largest existing rock-carved Buddhist scriptures in the world.

In addition, a number of visually more "three-dimensional" stone carvings are also very eye-catching: there are palm-sized zodiac signs, as well as birthday stars and cranes that imply health and longevity; dragons and phoenixes are lifelike and vivid, and the God of Wealth is full of anger and solemnity.

These works are from the hands of the non-genetic inheritor Lahua. His stone carvings emphasize three-dimensional and layered, and the patterns seem to be "detached" from the slate and appear in front of people's eyes.

It is precisely by using the hollowing technique that the patterns on the slate seem to "stand up", creating a strong sense of visual impact.

The second floor of the exhibition hall is a display of Rangtang County's poverty alleviation and rural revitalization in recent years.

Through pictures and text descriptions, the picture of the steady social and economic development of Rangtang unfolds slowly.

It is understood that in 2021, Rangtang County will achieve a regional GDP of 1.434 billion yuan, 1.8 times that of 2016.

In the past 5 years, Rangtang has invested a total of 2.73 billion yuan in various types of funds to practice and innovate targeted poverty alleviation models such as “cultural poverty alleviation”, “ecological poverty alleviation” and “home improvement”. A total of 39 poverty-stricken villages have been withdrawn, and 2,133 households and 10,534 people have been reduced from poverty.

Focusing on the "five major revitalizations" in rural areas, Rangtang Town and other rural revitalization pilot villages and towns are under construction, and the home environment is continuously improved. The penetration rate of rural toilets has reached 75%.

On the third floor of the exhibition hall, Thangka holds up "half the sky" for the display of intangible cultural heritage.

At the exhibition site, you can see not only Thangka works mounted on scrolls hundreds of years ago, but also Thangkas painted by contemporary artists, including a huge Tangka with a length of about 5 meters and a width of about 1 meter. Card works.

Through the thangka, one can see the scene of the thangka artist dancing the animation pen.

"One stroke in a prosperous age, all phenomena are brilliant" is the best summary of thangka art.

As a unique form of Tibetan painting, Thangka has a history of thousands of years, and its themes cover many fields such as history, politics, culture and social life. It is known as the "Encyclopedia of Tibetan Culture". Thangka, 'reveal' the production process of thangka for more audiences," said Luo Haiwen, deputy director of the Rangbala Cultural Research Center.

Luo Haiwen revealed that the purpose of holding this exhibition is to make the long-standing Rangbala culture known and loved by more people, "We made a special trip to transport a large number of thangkas, stone carvings and other exhibits from Rangtang, carefully arranged intangible cultural heritage performances, organized More than 30 intangible inheritors communicated face-to-face with the audience. The audience can also experience intangible cultural heritage items such as engraving, stone carving, and ethnic costumes.”

In recent years, Rangtang County has vigorously implemented the development strategy of "cultural priority" to support traditional culture scattered among the people. 46 non-genetic training centers have been built, covering Tibetan incense, Tibetan tea, Tibetan medicine, thangka, stone carving, pottery, There are many intangible cultural heritages such as Jue Nang Sanskrit, traditional costumes and so on.

A large number of folk arts inheritors have regained their skills, and many folk arts that have been gradually forgotten have returned to the farmers and herdsmen, and they are full of vitality.

"The intangible cultural heritage of Rangtang has been out of Sichuan for many times, and has been exhibited in Shanghai, Wenzhou and other cities, and has received a good response. In front of these exquisite works of art, many artists and ordinary audiences linger." Rangtang County Culture, Sports and Tourism Bureau Zerang Enbo, deputy director and director of the Rangbala Cultural Research Center, said that this year's Chengdu exhibition has further improved the content and artistry than previous exhibitions, and can more comprehensively display the Rangbala culture.

In Zerang Enbo's view, the effect of intangible cultural heritage protection and inheritance for the development of loam ponds is comprehensive, "the annual economic benefit of intangible cultural heritage is about 20 million yuan, which is a considerable sum for remote mountainous areas. Income. Intangible cultural heritage has also led to the employment of more than 3,000 people in the county, and allowed many young people to find their life goals and channels to display their talents through intangible cultural heritage. In addition, intangible cultural heritage has also greatly promoted the development of the cultural and tourism industry in Rangtang.” (End)
