According to the analysis of mobile population big data, the population within 20 kilometers of the epicenter is extremely sparse, the population within 50 kilometers is about 420, and the population within 100 kilometers is about 3,100.
The epicenter was located in an uninhabited plateau, about 39 kilometers away from Yongqu Township, Nierong County, Tibet.
The average altitude within 5 kilometers of the epicenter was about 4795 meters.
According to the people of Zaduo County, no significant earthquake was felt in the county seat.
Residents in Chadan Township, Zaduo County, which is closer to the epicenter, also reported that they did not feel the quake.
As of press time, Zaduo County has not received any reports of casualties.
