At dawn on the 14th, a large warehouse of a logistics company in Moriya City, Ibaraki Prefecture caught fire, and as of 11:30 am, it has been burning for more than 9 hours.


No one was injured, but firefighting efforts are continuing.

Around 2:30 am on the 14th, the delivery company reported to the fire department that there was a fire in the steel-framed one-story warehouse of the logistics company "Azuma Logistics" in Yurigaoka 1-chome, Moriya City, Ibaraki Prefecture.



According to the police, 20 fire engines are working to extinguish the fire, but as of 11:30 am, nine hours after the report, there is no prospect of extinguishing the fire.



The warehouse is about 4080 square meters, and rubber gloves and masks are stored.



No one was working at the time, and no one was injured.



Also, there is no spread of fire to the surrounding area.



Firefighters are continuing firefighting activities at the site where many factories are located near Moriya Station on the Tsukuba Express.
