Recently, when patrolling the Baixiongguan River in Caijiaba, a ranger in the Tangjiahe area of Sichuan Province caught a glimpse of two adult yellow-throated marten hunting a sub-adult goral.
The two yellow-throated martens were staring at the gorals by the water. After a fight, the gorals were forced to retreat to the river. The yellow-throated martens were not good at hunting in the water and had to retreat.
After a stalemate for nearly an hour, the tired yellow-throated marten finally left, and the goral remained motionless in the water. After the danger was completely eliminated, it quickly evacuated to the woods in the opposite direction from which the yellow-throated marten left.
