In the early morning of August 12, the first batch of 660 tourists who were stranded in Haikou due to the epidemic took a flight from Haikou Meilan International Airport to leave the island and returned to Guangzhou, Changsha, Shanghai, and Nanjing by five flights.
The Haikou New Coronavirus Pneumonia Epidemic Prevention and Control Work Headquarters issued an announcement on the 11th that for eligible stranded tourists, the return trips will be arranged in batches from August 11th.
After stranded tourists fill in the information in the "Leaving Qiong Application" column on the homepage of the Hainan Health Code and submit the application for outlying islands, Haikou will make overall arrangements based on the area, time and transportation capacity.
