The city of Kitakyushu has set up a consultation service for those affected by the fire at Tanga Market, and is providing guidance on support measures for the resumption of business.

Kitakyushu City's consultation desk was set up at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Kokurakita Ward on the morning of the 12th, and city officials are responding.

In the morning, a man who said that his restaurant had been burned down visited him and was consulting with him about rebuilding a new restaurant.

At the counter, it is said that when the damaged store resumes business, it will be possible to receive a subsidy of up to 1.2 million yen and that the city tax will be reduced or exempted.

A man who visited for consultation said, "The fire in April also damaged part of the store, and it was a fire that was finally reopened at the end of this month, so it was a big shock."

Yoshinori Sumino, head of the Kitakyushu Commerce and Service Industry Policy Division, said, "I think there are many victims who feel uneasy about the fire in a place where there were signs of recovery, but even though what they can do is limited, there are support menus. I would like to introduce you to relieve anxiety."

Consultations at this window are accepted from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm on weekdays.

In addition, the Kitakyushu Chamber of Commerce and Industry has also opened a consultation desk, and it is said that it responds to consultations such as management and cash flow.
