Reservist Captain Lee Geun, a former Navy Special Warfare Team (UDT/SEAL), publicly sniped Kim Yong-ho, a former entertainment reporter.

On the 11th, Lee Geun posted a picture on his YouTube channel community, saying, "Human end-of-life. Please rot well in prison."

The photo contained an article that Kim Yong-ho was sentenced to 8 months in prison for violating the Information and Communications Network Act.

On the 11th, the 12th Criminal Division of the Seoul Eastern District Court (Judge Shin Seong-cheol) sentenced Kim Yong-ho, who was charged with violating the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection, etc. (defamation), to eight months in prison.

However, he did not seek legal restraint, saying, "I am being tried in another court, so I need to guarantee the right of defense, and there is no risk of destroying evidence."

On August 25, 2019, Kim Yong-ho was charged with defamation for posting a video containing the false fact that "his former justice minister sponsored a certain actress" via his YouTube channel.

The feud between Captain Lee Geun and Kim Yong-ho dates back to 2020.

In October of that year, Yong-ho Kim revealed to his YouTube channel and Garosero Research Institute allegations of manipulation of Lee Geun's work at the United Nations and allegations of sexual harassment.

Lee Geun refuted Kim Yong-ho's claim and sued for spreading false information and defamation under the Information and Communications Network Act.
