Gluttony remains the least serious, the sweetest of the seven deadly sins.
If it has drawn the wrath of the Catholic Church, it is certainly because gluttony affects the senses, the carnal and the voluptuous, and thus plunges the Puritans into total disarray.
If at first glance, the greedy seems like a friendly and good-natured sinner, he quickly becomes detestable when he switches to gluttony, or even worse, when he tries to monopolize the share of the other.

From the gluttony of Obélix to the refined feast of Babette, gluttony can be combined to infinity, and we all have a more or less ambiguous relationship with it.
Some succumb to it with death in their souls, while others claim it in ostentatious ways with joy.
