Johnny Depp has signed on for his first role since his defamation lawsuit

Johnny Depp assured during his defamation lawsuit that his career had been permanently damaged by the allegations of domestic violence by Amber Heard, but they did not prevent him from working.

The actor indeed appeared this week in the promotional images of

Jeanne du Barry

, Maïwenn's next film, in which he embodies… quite simply a king!

The actor will indeed appear in the guise of Louis XV, in this story which features a prostitute (Jeanne du Barry, therefore), who will become the monarch's mistress, scandalizing the court.

In the image shared by production company Why Not, the actor can be seen in profile, blindfolded and face powdered, looking serious.

Few details have filtered on the project except, therefore, the main actors.

Alongside Johnny Depp, we should find Maïwenn, the director, in the title role, as well as Benjamin Lavernhe, Pierre Richard, Melvil Poupaud, Noémie Lvovsky, Pascal Greggory and India Hair.

Filming has already started, the production having been noticed in particular at the Palace of Versailles, and the film should be released in 2023.

Kevin Hart is releasing a book

Kevin Hart author?

If he does not embark on a philosophical essay or a novel over several volumes, the comedian will not take it easy by releasing, like some colleagues, a humorous book.

He will indeed launch into the “self-help” or psychology section.

Monsters and How to Tame Them: Taking Charge of the Voices in Your Head

will, as the star announces, be a book in which he will help readers get rid of their demons.

“I already know that you probably have one of those annoying inner monsters on your back too.

I'm going to give you a little lesson on how to deal with them,” he promised.

No need to look in your favorite bookstore at first, since the book must be released first in audio form, on the Audible service.

The audio book will be available on September 15.
