In the legal battle between Jason Sudeikis and his ex Olivia Wilde, for the custody of their children… the first round was won by the actress.

The two stars have two children, Otis, 8, and Daisy, 5, and since last October they have been arguing over where the toddlers should be kept.

The Ted Lasso star wanted them to stay in Brooklyn, where he plans to live, while the

would like to stay in Los Angeles.

After several months of proceedings, a judge determined that it was impossible to agree with Jason Sudeikis.

"Judge Powell and this arbitrator agreed that New York was not the state of origin of the children concerned, but rather California", can we read in the court decision, relayed by Page Six.

Counter attack

Olivia Wilde had hit hard earlier this week by claiming that her ex had tried to intimidate her by handing her documents related to the custody of their children at CinemaCon last April.

At the time, Jason Sudeikis claimed that he was not responsible and that the company responsible for handing over the documents had taken the initiative itself.

But the actress does not believe it.

“Jason's actions were clearly intended to threaten me and catch me off guard.

He could have given me the documents discreetly, but he preferred to send them to me in the most aggressive way possible…”, she had declared to justice in documents obtained by the Daily Mail.

Thus justifying, according to her, that she counterattacks.

“Having Jason embarrass me professionally and publicly expose our personal conflict in this way is extremely contrary to the best interests of our children.

Since Jason made it clear that we couldn't resolve this issue for the sake of our children outside of the court system, I filed for custody in Los Angeles.

“, she added.

Jason Sudeikis, who must return to the United States after having finished filming season 3 of Ted Lasso in England, will therefore probably have to settle in Los Angeles if he wants to continue to see his children regularly.

It remains to be determined who will obtain primary custody of the children.

The conflict has only just begun!
