Gunma Prefecture announced on the 11th that 2,778 people were newly infected with the new coronavirus in the prefecture and two deaths were confirmed.
It is the third highest number of infected people announced in a single day.
The number of confirmed infections in the prefecture reached 160,358, of which 366 died.
