Fukuoka Prefecture announced on the 10th that 12,260 people were newly confirmed to be infected with the new coronavirus in the prefecture.
It was the 6th consecutive day that it was below the same day of the previous week.
The breakdown is 4,554 in Fukuoka, 2,582 in Kitakyushu, and 943 in Kurume.
A total of 766,844 people were confirmed to be infected in Fukuoka Prefecture.
In addition, a total of 18 people in their 70s to 90s and above were confirmed to have died, bringing the number of infected people who died in Fukuoka Prefecture to 1,450.
