Antony Blinken: “America is not engaging in Africa because of another country”

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, on a tour of Africa to redesign US strategy on the continent, gave RFI an interview in Pretoria, South Africa.

Antony Blinken evokes the war in Ukraine, American influence in Africa, but also the ongoing tensions between Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of Congo.

He is also expected from this Tuesday, August 9 in the DRC for the rest of his tour, before joining Rwanda.
