On August 7, the Sanya New Coronary Pneumonia Epidemic Prevention and Control Work Headquarters held a press conference.
Ji Duanrong, Secretary-General of Sanya Municipal Government, introduced that in response to the current epidemic, Sanya has improved the reserve capacity of isolation points and makeshift hospitals.
Sanya has now reserved 43 quarantine hotels with a total of about 11,000 rooms, and there are still more than 7,800 rooms left.
In the next step, Sanya will continue to explore resources such as hotels, school dormitories, and gymnasiums, and plans to reserve 25,000 rooms.
Sanya Fangcai Hospital has a total of 1,828 beds, with 1,046 beds remaining.
The site selection for the second Fangcang cabin hospital has been completed. After completion and delivery before August 11, it can provide 2,000 beds.
