From late at night on the 7th, two ships of the China Coast Guard intruded into Japanese territorial waters off the coast of the Senkaku Islands in Okinawa Prefecture for about 18 hours.

After 6:00 pm on the 8th, the Japan Coast Guard Headquarters continues to warn and monitor not to enter the territorial waters again.

According to the 11th Regional Coast Guard Headquarters, after 11:30 p.m. on the 7th, two ships of the China Coast Guard were found off the coast of Kuba Island in the Senkaku Islands, and before 0:30 a.m. on the 8th, off the coast of Minamikojima. It intruded into territorial waters and showed movements to approach Japanese fishing boats operating in territorial waters.



The two vessels sailed in Japan's territorial waters for about 18 hours, and left the territorial waters just after 6:00 pm when the fishing boat left the area.



The Japan Coast Guard Headquarters warns against re-entering the territorial waters and continues to monitor.



This year, it was the 16th incident following the 7th that a Chinese Coast Guard ship was confirmed to have intruded into Japan's territorial waters off the Senkaku Islands.
