On August 5, after several days of continuous fighting, a decisive battle of blockade was ushered in the vicinity of the breach of the Raoyang River in Panjin City, Liaoning Province.
At present, the plugging of the rupture is progressing smoothly, and the length of the rupture is only more than 10 meters.
The Raoyang River, which broke this time, is a first-class tributary of the Liaohe River.
Affected by factors such as continuous heavy precipitation in July, at 6:00 on August 1, a dam in the Shusilian section on the left bank of the Raoyang River experienced serious water penetration, and at 10:30 on the same day, a breach occurred there.
China Aneng Group, which is working on the site, uses various high-precision equipment such as multi-beam unmanned detection ships and flow measurement drones to jointly fight to block the breach.
It is understood that the people affected by the dam rupture have been properly resettled by the local government.
