From the evening of August 3rd to the 4th, Zhaojue County, Liangshan Prefecture, Sichuan Province was hit by heavy rainfall, which led to dangerous situations such as flooding of houses and trapping of people in many places.

At 22:38 on August 3, the water level in the ditch around a house in Rehuoluo Village, Chengbei Town, Zhaojue County soared due to torrential rain. Many women and children were trapped in their homes and could not be safely evacuated.

The fire and rescue personnel who rushed to the scene found that some of the children were younger, and immediately took off their raincoats and emergency rescue suits for the children to put on.

  During the transfer, 2 firefighters cleared the road ahead, the other 2 firefighters walked behind the team, and the remaining firefighters led the villagers and children to evacuate to a safe area by hugging, carrying, pulling, etc.

After 30 minutes of unremitting efforts, 17 women and children were successfully evacuated to a safe place.

  As of the morning of August 4, the Zhaojue County Fire Rescue Brigade evacuated and transferred 24 villagers, rescued one injured person, and rescued and transferred more than 100,000 yuan of property and supplies.
