The town hall of Nogent-sur-Marne (Val-de-Marne) has launched a campaign to donate trees to residents with the aim of promoting biodiversity and contributing to the well-being of residents.

The city council voted for this initiative last April.

People wishing to make a request can manifest themselves until August 31, specifies

Actu Val-de-Marne

.

The process is done by mail.

Only one tree per year can be received.

The municipality's objective is to add plants to private properties, in addition to those already present in municipal green spaces.

To be able to be chosen, you must be the owner or co-owner of the place intended to receive the tree.

An envelope of 30,000 euros

Before the request is accepted and the trees are planted between October and December 2022, a technician from the city will carry out a control visit.

It is indeed necessary to check that the place lends itself to it and to select the appropriate essence.

Nogent-sur-Marne will devote a budget of 30,000 euros to this program.
