In his view, issues such as housing supply, internal and external customs clearance, and youth development are all related to the development of people's livelihood in Hong Kong society.

Therefore, in terms of housing, I have set up two working groups. We have to submit a preliminary proposal within 100 days of taking office. Both groups are led by director-level officials, so they are all-round and hope to solve this problem. .
[Explanation] Under the epidemic, customs clearance has always been a concern for people's livelihood. In this regard, Li Jiachao said that the current epidemic situation in Hong Kong is on the rise. Considering the pressure of epidemic prevention in the mainland, it is currently difficult to "one-step" customs clearance with the mainland. The first goal is to reduce the inconvenience factor for residents in the two places.

The second is to accurately distinguish high-risk and low-risk people, and use different methods to let people who are not high-risk can have some permissible activities as soon as possible, so that the society can return to our normal life as soon as possible, this is also important.
So the first step may be to reduce some inconveniences (factors) as the first goal, then slowly move forward from the process, and finally reach a more normal exchange.
[Explanation] Youth is the future of the city and country, and the prosperity of youth is the prosperity of Hong Kong.
Li Jiachao said that the governance team of the SAR government will formulate an overall youth policy and a blueprint for youth development to assist young people in their studies, employment, entrepreneurship, and home ownership, and help young people move upward.

Li Jiachao believes that in order to release the value of "patriots governing Hong Kong", it is necessary to explore new methods in the communication and cooperation between the administration and the legislation.
Half a month ago, at the first meeting of the "front office exchange meeting" proposed by him, Li Jiachao, who just took office, personally led three directors and three deputy directors to meet and communicate with members of the Legislative Council.
He pointed out that this exchange will help push Hong Kong's executive-legislative relationship to a new level.

[Explanation] On May 8, 2022, Li Jia was elected as the sixth chief executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region with a high vote, becoming the new chief executive of Hong Kong in the first chief executive election after Hong Kong improved the electoral system.
"Begin a new chapter for Hong Kong together" is his political platform and campaign slogan, and it is also his policy direction for the next five years. For him, the word "tong" is of great significance.
