[Explanation] The "Forge a New Journey and Create a New Chapter - Art Exhibition to Celebrate the 25th Anniversary of Hong Kong's Return to the Motherland", hosted by the Hong Kong Association for the Promotion of Culture from All Walks of Life, opened at the Hong Kong City Hall on the afternoon of August 2.

Yang Runxiong, Director of the Culture, Sports and Tourism Bureau of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government, Ma Fengguo, President of the Hong Kong Membership of the Chinese Federation of Literary and Art Circles, and Lin Tianxing, Chairman of the Hong Kong Art Association attended the opening ceremony and served as officiating guests to cut the ribbon for the event.

  [Explanation] Lin Tianxing said in an interview with a reporter from China News Agency that most of the works exhibited are from the Hong Kong Art Association, and many themes depict the prosperity of Hong Kong and the picture of anti-epidemic.

  There are more than 100 artists participating in this exhibition, most of them are members of the Hong Kong Art Association, so for me, I am very familiar with these works. These works include oil paintings, watercolors, prints, Chinese paintings, and some (works) show the prosperity of Hong Kong. The scene, the perseverance of Hong Kong people during the epidemic in Hong Kong, and the strong backing of the motherland, many citizens came to watch this exhibition.

  [Explanation] It is reported that the exhibition invited more than 100 famous Hong Kong calligraphers and painters to exhibit more than 100 works, covering different forms such as Chinese ink, oil painting, watercolor, etc., which not only demonstrated the superb skills of Hong Kong artists, but also expressed the Hong Kong literary and art circles and Hong Kong artists. My compatriots' best wishes for Hong Kong's prosperity and stability.

  I think the numerous art exhibitions can further illustrate that Hong Kong is actually not short of many capable and talented art workers and painters. There are also many opportunities for development in the presentation of his works, allowing Hong Kong and mainland painters to have a role in communication and mutual promotion.

This will have a very positive impact on the overall culture and arts of Hong Kong.
