Taylor Swift is number one.

Only this time it's not about the charts, but about flying sins.

The American digital agency Yard has evaluated which celebrities most often jet around in their private jets, and declared Swift the inglorious winner: the singer has flown 170 times since January of this year.

According to Yard, in 2022 she emitted 8,293.54 tons of emissions, 1,100 times more than the average person.

But Swift is not alone.

Pop stars like Jay-Z, Kim Kardashian and Travis Scott are also among the top ten flight offenders.

Rapper Scott had previously attracted attention with his sensational flight behavior.

His partner Kylie Jenner, Kardashian's sister, recently posted a picture of her own private jet alongside Scott's plane with the caption, "Do we take mine or yours?" Lasted 17 minutes because she flew from Van Nuys in Los Angeles to the nearby town of Camraillo, many users were outraged by Jenner's flight behavior.

By car you could have covered the distance in about 40 minutes.

Prior to the 17-minute flight, Jenner reportedly flew to Van Nuys from Thermal on her private jet — a flight that lasted 27 minutes.

Fans are stunned

This can be tracked on the automated Celeb Jets Twitter account.

Jenner isn't the only one with a penchant for short-haul flights: Rapper Drake, for example, flew from Hamilton, Ontario to Toronto in June this year - the flight took 18 minutes.

Especially in view of the horrendous forest fires and heat waves in the USA, the flying sins of the stars caused bewilderment and outrage among many fans.

A spokesman for singer Taylor Swift said the 32-year-old regularly borrows her private jet.

The assumption that she made all 170 flights herself is "blatantly wrong".
