Second stop in our series in Budapest, the Hungarian capital.
Born from the merger of 2 cities: Buda (Obuda = on the right bank) / Pest (on the left bank of the Danube), previously independent, Budapest is cut in two by the Danube.
The river is at the heart of Budapest's economic expansion, the city's port can accommodate international cargo ships.
The city also has dozens of thermal springs.
Built in particular by the Turks, who occupied the country for almost 150 years, the baths are one of the main tourist attractions of the "pearl of the Danube".
