The song from the world-famous pop star Beyonce's new album was engulfed in 'disrespect for the disabled', and in the end, it was decided to re-record it.

According to foreign media such as CNN on the 1st of local time, Beyonce's side announced that they would correct the problematic lyrics in the songs on her album.

Earlier, Beyonce returned with her 7th full-length album 'RENAISSANCE', six years after her previous work 'Lemonade' on the 29th.

However, as one of her b-side songs, 'Heated', included the slang word 'spaz', which means 'idiot' or 'seizure', in the lyrics, Beyonce was criticized mainly online.

According to foreign media, the expression is derived from the adjective 'spastic', which means cerebral palsy, because it is a derogatory expression for people with spastic cerebral palsy.

Just a few weeks ago, another pop star, Lizzo, used the same expression in her new song and issued an apology to remove the part after facing backlash from human rights activists with disabilities.

A human rights activist for the disabled said, "When the fans heard Beyonce's lyrics, they felt like being slapped on the cheek. It's a pity that the same controversy has been repeated so quickly after Rizzo's case."

Beyonce explained that she did not use the phrase intentionally, and she later said she would revise the lyrics.

Scope, a charity for the disabled who demanded Beyonce re-record, said, "It was the right decision for Beyoncé to act very quickly in response to criticism from people with disabilities for frivolous housework."

She continued, "She hopes that no one, let alone powerful singers, will use that expression any more."
