On July 31, local time, Russian President Vladimir Putin attended the Russian Navy Day military parade to commemorate the 326th anniversary of the establishment of the Russian Navy.

  Putin first took a speedboat around the warships participating in the military parade in Kronstadt, greeted and congratulated the naval officers and soldiers, and then went to St. Petersburg to attend the main military parade of the Navy Day.

More than 40 ships and submarines, 42 aircraft and more than 3,500 military personnel participated in the parade this year.

  Speaking at the ceremony, Putin said that Russia will make every effort to protect its maritime borders and that the Russian Navy is ready to respond quickly to any violation of the sovereignty and freedom of the Russian Federation.

He also said that the "Zircon" hypersonic cruise missile will be delivered to the Russian army within a few months, and its deployment area will be selected according to Russia's security interests.
