There were four cases in which users were injured on the slider of the municipal pool in Sakai City, Osaka, and the city stopped using it.
Users were injured one after another on a slider with a total length of about 120 meters installed in the municipal "Harayama Park Pool" in Minami Ward, Sakai City.
According to Sakai City, from July 3 to 10, three men in their 40s and a boy in the sixth grade of elementary school suffered bruises and bleeding on the left eyebrow of their faces while sliding. It means that you were injured.
The slider complies with national safety standards, and no abnormalities were found during inspections by the facility or the manufacturer. It means that it is believed that it was hit.
This slider was installed two years ago, but due to the influence of the new corona, its use was suspended until now, and it was only available on July 1st.
Due to a series of injuries immediately after, Sakai City stopped using the slider again on July 10th.
Around 1,000 people are believed to have used it.
Sakai City plans to repair the steep slopes, and plans to complete the work by next year's opening.
