The Yellow Den, which has been popular on the Nagoya Municipal Subway for many years and retired 22 years ago, has been recreated and started operating for a limited time from the 1st.

"Yellow Den" has been active since the Nagoya Municipal Subway began operating in 1957, and was retired in 2000, 22 years ago. Based on the funds collected by funding, the yellow vehicle at that time was reproduced.



Prior to the start of limited-time operation from the 1st, a departure ceremony was held at "Fujigaoka Station" on the Nagoya Municipal Subway Higashiyama Line.



When the yellow-wrapped vehicle entered the home, railway fans who visited were greeted with applause.



At the ceremony, Mr. Shiro Kobayashi, Director General of the Nagoya Municipal Transportation Bureau, made a speech, saying, "Thanks to all of you, we were able to celebrate our 100th anniversary. We will continue to strive for even safer transportation."



And "Yellow Den" ran on the Nagoya Municipal Subway tracks for the first time in 22 years with the signal of departure.



A visitor said, ``I remembered how I was running on the Higashiyama Line at the time.



The reproduced "Yellow Den" will be operated on the Higashiyama Line from the 1st, and on the Meijo Line and Meiko Line from the 8th of this month, and is scheduled to run until the end of January next year.
