After criticism, the US singer Beyoncé (40) changed the lyrics of one of the songs on her newly released album "Renaissance".

In the original version of the song "Heated", the musician uses the word "spaz" in different variations, which in German can mean "turn off" or "romp", but is also used as a pejorative term for people with disabilities.

"The word that was not intentionally used in a offensive manner will be substituted," a spokeswoman for Beyoncé was quoted as saying by numerous US media outlets on Monday.

"Renaissance" is the artist's seventh studio album and was released just a few days ago.

In June, after similar criticism, the singer Lizzo replaced the same word in her song "Grrrls".
