  Famous photographers donate works on the Grand Canal

  At yesterday's press conference, Mr. Liu Shizhao, a well-known photographer, donated his collection of works on the Grand Canal over the past decades - "The Flowing Epic Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal Ride" to Shoubo for free.

  "I was very happy to hear that the Shoubo East Pavilion (Beijing Grand Canal Museum) will be opened in Tongzhou. As a photographer who rode a bicycle from Beijing to Hangzhou and ran twice, I felt very happy." Liu Shizhao introduced that in 1981 he partnered with a text reporter Starting from Beijing, take photos along the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal by bicycle.

Thirty-five years later, in 2016, at the age of 68, he once again rode a bicycle from Beijing to Hangzhou to photograph the Grand Canal.
