An online forum was held for junior and senior high school students to learn about the current situation in Ukraine and think about what they can do to help.

This forum was organized by private high school students in Tokyo after learning about the current situation in which Ukrainian youth are losing their lives and fighting away from family and friends due to the Russian military invasion.



About 100 junior and senior high school students from various places participated online, and Bogdan Parhomenko, who continues to disseminate information on SNS from Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine, said, "For the past few days, rockets have been fired in the neighborhood, and my brother who was taken prisoner. The facility where my friend was being held was bombed, and I feel sorrow for the damage in my immediate surroundings."



In addition, three high school and college students who had evacuated to Japan from Ukraine gave a speech, saying, "I was playing a video game with my sister when the Russian military invasion began, and my sister said, 'Let's take a picture for when we die.' Afterwards, the students thought about what they could do to support the cause, and exchanged various opinions, such as collecting signatures, collecting donations, and expressing their feelings of support on social media.
