In Niigata prefecture, it was confirmed that 2645 new people were infected with the new coronavirus.
Niigata City also announced that two people infected with the new coronavirus have died.
On the other hand, Niigata Prefecture and Niigata City have withdrawn or canceled a total of 21 people due to duplication of announcements so far.
A total of 102,985 people have been confirmed to be infected in the prefecture.
