In the Brazilian city of Rio de Janeiro, a new exhibition of Vincent van Gogh's work has opened its doors.

What were originally paintings are now shown in high definition video, 8K, instead.

- It took us a team of 50 people and six months to develop this project and we have mixed different themes to deconstruct van Gogh's work, says Rafael Reisman who is executive producer for the exhibition.

The exhibition is soundtracked by, among others, Beethoven, Pink Floyd and The Beatles.

Vincent van Gogh was a Dutch artist who lived between 1853 and 1890. His most famous works consist of "Starry Night", "Sunflowers" and his self-portrait.

Van Gogh is considered one of the main forerunners of modern art and expressionism.
