Regarding the construction of charging facilities in residential communities that everyone cares about, the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development said that from January to May this year, 8,940 charging piles will be added in the renovation of old urban communities.
In the future, the construction of charging facilities in residential communities will be an important starting point for benefiting people's livelihood, promoting consumption and stabilizing growth.
The Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development has revised and issued a series of standards and specifications such as "Urban Residential Area Planning and Design Standards", "Complete Residential Community Construction Standards", "Electric Vehicle Decentralized Charging Facilities Engineering Technical Standards" and other standards, and made "100% construction of new residential parking spaces. "Charging facilities or reserved construction and installation conditions" stipulates that the planning and site selection, power supply system, supporting facilities, and completion acceptance of charging facilities are specified.
In addition, for existing residential areas, the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development has instructed all localities to transform or build residential areas and surrounding electric vehicle charging facilities as the improvement content of old urban areas.
From January to May this year, 8,940 charging piles were added in the renovation of old urban communities in various places.
