Narratives, one of Kalimat Publishing Group companies, under the auspices of Emirates Airlines, launched the “Your Summer Narrative” reading campaign, which allows those who participate in it the possibility of winning tickets to the countries of elite writers of the house’s publications, in addition to enjoying reading moments and what It leaves a positive impact on the soul that makes it a parallel life and a fruitful journey to the world of art and knowledge.

The summer vacation represents a golden opportunity for the audience who loves to read, during which they can read the stories and novels they love, which increase their passion for books that open their minds and add everything new to the memory of each of them, and this is what “Ruwaiyat” was keen to make available this summer to the readers.

The campaign will continue for six weeks until mid-September, with the aim of encouraging community members to read, and to take advantage of the summer vacation to learn and read.

The competition includes writing a review of one of the selected novels and publishing it on social media platforms, with recording and publishing a video in which the participant summarizes the book he has read.

Six winners will receive two tickets to travel to six countries, to go on trips to enjoy their summer vacation, based on their reviews of the selected works published by "Rawayat".

Best review of "Don't Cry, Child" will win for Ngogi wa Thiong'o, on the Kenya trip, while the best review of "Adam Zagaevsky's Poems" by Adam Zagayewski, on the Poland trip, best review of "Labyrinth" by Burhan Sonmez for the Turkey trip, and best review of "The Labyrinth" by Burhan Sonmez for the Turkey trip will win Dr. Klass by Lilmar Soderbury, with the Sweden trip, best review of "Paris Orphia" by Henry Cole, with the France trip, and best review for "If Beale Street Could Speak" by James Baldwin, with the United States trip.

With the aim of rewarding reading lovers and providing their libraries with new publications and translations events, and to encourage the dissemination of the culture of readers during the summer vacation, the “Your Summer is a Narrative” campaign includes another competition, which gives prizes to those who participate in presentations and distinguished readings of books every week during the competition period, through which “narratives” are presented. Five bags a week contain a set of books from its publications for five winners, whose names are announced every Monday through the official account of the house on “Instagram”.
