but to experience the semi-final of the Women's Football Euro between France and Germany (1-2).

The meeting captivated more than seven million viewers, according to data released Thursday by Médiamétrie and the channels.

In detail, the team led by Corinne Deacon brought together 6.23 million viewers on TF1, which carved out an audience share of 32.6%, achieving the best television audience of the evening.

On Canal +, co-broadcaster of the competition, the match brought together 811,000 viewers, with a peak of 877,000 when the French equalized.

The best score of the season

For the first channel, this audience result constitutes the "best performance for a women's Euro competition, all channels combined", while Canal+ salutes a record on this edition of the Euro.

This success does not, however, surpass the audience record of Les Bleues in June 2019, during the World Cup in France, with nearly 12 million viewers (TF1 and Canal +) for the victorious round of 16 against Brazil.
