An elephant deceives a lot... And it can hurt too!

, Valérie Trierweiler and her best friend Karine took part in a test allowing them to recover the red flag, a highly useful weapon for controlling the race.

Unfortunately, not everything went as planned for the pair who, like Inès Reg and her sister as well as Rachel Legrain-Trapani and her companion, had to pass through two rows of hungry pachyderms with baskets of fruit in their hands.

The goal of the test was to cross a wobbly footbridge while avoiding seeing the contents of his basket devoured by elephants.

But in the middle of the game, Karine receives a violent blow from her trunk, throwing her to the ground.

The commercial remains lying on the ground for several seconds, causing trouble with the other candidates.

“I wait a few seconds, I see that she is not getting up.

I run towards her and she was in shock, shaking all over her body, ”says Valérie Trierweiler.

A wrist splint

Stunned, the best friend of the former First Lady manages to get away from the elephants to lie down a few meters further.

A medical team then intervened while Stéphane Rotenberg proclaimed the end of the race.

A few minutes later, when the teams have left the place of the game, the presenter gathers the candidates and asks Karine for news.

“It could be better, I didn't expect to see an elephant so close, I think we hit it off,” she smiles.

On her arm, the player wears a splint.

“I think it's going to be fine but it's a little sensitive, I can't use my left arm at all,” she laments.

Finally, Valérie Trierweiler and her friend managed to finish the race despite this handicap.
